This month’s Volunteer Position Spotlight shines on an opportunity to join the Fridley Fund Sub-Committee! This is an incredible opportunity to support emerging professionals to access ongoing training opportunities that may otherwise be inaccessible. This opportunity also requires minimal commitment on the part of the volunteer!
The ISSTD’s Fridley Fund is a sub-committee of the ISSTD’s Grants and Awards Committee. As part of the Fridley Fund Sub-Committee, volunteers update and liaise with the Grants and Awards Committee, organize the fund, as well as follow up with and advise recipients one year after the funds have been granted, to give testimonial or feedback on training. In this role, new committee members would be a part of evaluating student applications for funding, as a means of bridging and increasing access educational events. This committee communicates through ISSTDWorld and also meets for virtual meetings, at least annually.
The ideal committee members are either interested or experienced in teaching and/or providing clinical supervision to students. If this sounds like something you would be interested in being a part of, please click here to explore this opportunity. Please note you will need to log in to ISSTDWorld to view and apply for this opportunity. We encourage students and emerging professionals to apply!
We welcome all members to apply. We would love to hear from you!
