2021 Annual Conference

Update: 2021 ISSTD Annual Conference Moves to Virtual & Call for Proposals Reopened

Over the last several months, the ISSTD Board of Directors and the Annual Conference Committee have been monitoring the situation with COVID-19. The safety of our attendees and presenters is our utmost priority. Due to the continued uncertainty regarding a vaccine and international travel, we have decided to transition the 2021 ISSTD Annual Conference to a fully virtual event. We anticipate the conference taking place over four days, April 9-12, 2021. We will be confirming participation of invited speakers over the next few weeks and will make announcements regarding plenary workshops and pre-conferences later in October.

In order to allow those who previously did not submit a presentation due to travel restrictions or safety concerns, we are reopening the Call for Proposals today and allowing an additional two weeks for presentations to be submitted. This updated Call for Proposals will close on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 11:59pm Pacific Daylight Time. If you previously submitted a proposal and are not interested in presenting virtually, please email info@isst-d.org to have your presentation withdrawn. Due to the timeline for review of presentations, we will not be extending the deadline beyond October 19, 2020. Please use the Submission Guidelines link below to access the Call for Proposals Submission Site.

We anticipate that the full schedule of presentations and engagement events will be available in early December, at which time we will launch registration. We hope to include a number of opportunities for attendees to engage with each other face-to-face. We know that one of the highlights of the Annual Conference is the opportunity to catch up and network with each other, and we look forward to bringing these self-care and connection opportunities to our virtual conference.

We look forward to seeing you virtually in April 2021 and hope that you will mark your calendars for our next in-person Annual Conference taking place March 31-April 4, 2022 at the Hyatt Regency in Seattle, Washington!
