Research Participants Required

All articles requesting research participation must be approved by the ISSTD Board prior to posting. This proposal was approved by the ISSTD Board in May 2020.

Dacia Oberhelman is a doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology Ph.D. program at the University of North Dakota. She is seeking participants for research as a part of her dissertation.

Dacia’s research aims to understand help-seeking behaviors following an unwanted sexual experience for those who live in rural and non-rural areas. The types of questions the survey will ask about include questions about your identity, potential experiences of trauma, thoughts related to seeking help, overall well-being, and if you live in an area that is rural or non-rural.

This survey is for those who are 18 years are older and is completely online. To participate, visit this link.

Participants will not receive incentives for participating. If you fit the criteria, your participation would be greatly appreciated.
