ISSTD Seeks New Center for Advanced Studies Administrator

The International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation is seeking a new Center for Advanced Studies (CFAS) Administrator. This position is fully remote.

Position Description

The CFAS Administrator provides support on all training offerings with a focus on the ISSTD Professional Training Program. They assist with administrative tasks including attendance tracking, website troubleshooting with attendees and faculty, credit tracking and processing certificates. They will assist staff with questions from attendees and faculty on course content, course availability and registration as needed.

This person should be able to work both independently and as part of a group which may include staff, volunteer leadership, attendees, members, and faculty members. They will report to the Chief Executive Officer and Education & Events Manager.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
The ideal individual serving in this role will be a professional familiar with the mental health industry who has experience in education and professional training departments or a desire to learn about this area. The administrator should also have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including strong email responsiveness
  • Ability and willingness to learn online communication platforms including our learning management system, Zoom, Google Docs, and others as needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Organizational skills
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn the use of a membership database.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred. 

Compensation:

The individual selected for this position will receive the following compensation:

  • Annual stipend of $1,200 paid twice per year in increments of $600 in June and December
  • Complimentary registration to any ISSTD training or event including conferences, professional training program courses, and webinars (EMDR and ASCH training excluded)
  • Complimentary ISSTD membership
