ISSTD DashBoard News

Greetings to all, as we enter another amazing year of transformation and outreach.

The Board has been hard at work in creating structure for our ever-growing array of educational opportunities, world presence and voice in current events relating to trauma and dissociation. In the past year, we offered regional conferences in Austin, Texas, Washington, DC, Portland, Oregon and Otautahi/Christchurch, New Zealand. In the coming months, we are rolling out several regional conferences in London, England; Fairbanks, Alaska; and Nashville, Tennessee.

We also are very fortunate to have experts in our field working on updating Adult Treatment Guidelines, as well as the Child and Adolescent Treatment Guidelines. You can take online classes, teleseminars and attend Conferences to build toward ISSTD Certificates. To explore our Certificate Bundle, which is an economical way of enhancing knowledge and skills, please click here.

We are very abuzz and excited that our San Francisco Annual Conference is almost here. We hope you join us for The World Congress on Complex Trauma and Dissociation 2020: Envisioning the Coming Decade. Our plenary speakers include Karlen Lyons-Ruth, Pat Ogden, and A.A.T. Simone Reinders. We will have the ASCH Hypnosis Training Pre-Conference, along with other exciting workshops, discussion panels and poster sessions.  There are many opportunities to get together with Special Interest Groups, take part in our Create & Connect evening of fun with the Creative Arts SIG, meet up with colleagues at the Society Lounge and enjoy meeting up with friends old and new.

There’s still time to register at https://annualconference.isst-d.org/. We hope you will come take in The Golden Gate City (and leave your heart there!) and attend the conference, at the beautiful InterContinental San Francisco. See you soon!
