2023 Annual Conference

Don’t Miss Out on These Social Events at the 2023 Annual Conference!

While not in one of our many sessions during this year’s annual conference, join us for a variety of social events! ISSTD has a variety of offerings throughout the conference to allow our members from all over the world the opportunity to connect in person. Learn more below about our various social events. 

Friday

Morning Mindful Movement | 7:30 – 8:15 am 
Start your day with a Morning Mindful Movement session! This event is free to all registered attendees.

Donor Recognition Reception (By Invitation Only) | 5:00 – 6:00 pm
This invite-only reception is open to all 2022 and 2023 donors. Members of the Board of Directors will share details on current funds available for donation, funds most in need, annual fundraising goals, and information about the recurring donation program will be developed. Drinks and light bites will be served.

First Time Attendee Meetup | 5:30 – 6:00 pm
Join members of the ISSTD Board and Annual Conference Committee in the Society Lounge to meet other first time attendees and ask questions about the conference! This event is free to all registered in-person attendees.

Opening Reception | 6:00 – 7:00 pm
Help us kick off our 2023 Annual Conference and mingle with your fellow attendees. (Access to this event is included in all registrations)

Taste of Louisville (Ticketed Event – Benefiting the Goodwin Fund) | 6:30 – 7:30 pm
The “Taste of Louisville” event will feature all the tastes that Louisville is known for – the famous Hot Brown, dessert Derby Pie, and more. Participate in a cocktail/mocktail making class with bourbon and other fantastic local flavors! All those who attend will be entered into a drawing for a Taste of Louisville Basket filled with highlights of Louisville. 

Proceeds from this event will go to the Goodwin Education Fund which defrays the cost of one training activity offered through ISSTD for professionals who would otherwise be unable to obtain appropriate instruction in the treatment of complex trauma and dissociation.

Saturday

Conference Opening | 8:00 – 8:30 AM
Kick off the conference prior to our first plenary as we recognize our outgoing Board members, welcome our new ISSTD Certificate and Advanced Certificate holders, and share exciting updates from ISSTD.

Student & Emerging Professional Lunch (RSVP Required) | 12:00 – 1:30 pm
Calling all students and emerging professionals! You are invited to learn more about new opportunities to become involved in ISSTD and network with distinguished ISSTD members. ISSTD Luminaries will share their experiences in the industry and answer your questions. Lunch will be provided, RSVP required.

Awards Reception | 5:00 – 7:00 pm
Join us as we celebrate and honor our 2023 Annual Award winners! Enjoy some music, mingling, light bites and drinks. (Access to this event included in all registrations)

This meeting is open to ISSTD Members only. This annual meeting updates members on the current state of ISSTD and all of the upcoming plans and events.

Important Registration Details

  • Registration for Virtual/Livestream participation is only available for the main conference days, April 15-17, 2023. Virtual/Livestream attendees will have the choice between two different presentation streams during all time slots except for the plenary presentations.
  • Presentations that will be livestreamed will be indicated with an icon of a video camera in the session information in the preliminary program.
  • Registration for the conference includes access to recordings of livestreamed sessions on the days you are registered for. Access to these recordings will be exclusively available to registered conference attendees for 180 days. 
  • Continuing Education and Continuing Medical Education credits are available for purchase for live (in-person or virtual) attendance only. We anticipate offering a limited number of session recordings for continuing education credit approximately 180 days after the conference.
  • Certificates of Attendance are also available for purchase. This certificate is not for CE/CME purposes. The Certificate of Attendance shows that you attended the conference but does not specify sessions attended.
  • Discounts are available for groups of five or more from the same hospital, facility, college/university, or organization. Information on discounts can be found here
  • We also offer discounts for attendees coming from World Bank categorized lower income countries. To check whether your country is in one of these categories, click here. Email cfas@isst-d.org to request a discount code for registration.
