September is Student & Emerging Professionals Month at ISSTD, and we’re excited to celebrate the students and early career members who bring energy, passion, and fresh perspectives to our community. We appreciate the time and dedication you give to growing within the field and within ISSTD.This month, we’ve been offering exclusive initiatives and discounted courses for SEP members in the Student and Emerging Professional Forum in ISSTDWorld. If you’re a student or within your first three years post-licensure or graduation, join us in this exclusive ISSTDWorld Community!

New Learning Resource:

In honor of SEP Month, we’ve launched the Introduction to Complex Trauma & Dissociative Disorders Package, designed to support early learning and confidence in working with complex trauma and dissociation. You can learn more about and purchase the package here.

Student and Emerging Professionals Committee Chair & Committee Members
Are you interested in planning the next Student and Emerging Professionals Month? Are you looking to build more connections within iSSTD and create more opportunities and spaces for those working towards their degree or in the beginning of their career? We invite you to join the newly created Student and Emerging Professionals Committee. This committee is being newly formed and will be charged with planning an SEP event at the Annual Conference, the 2026 SEP Month, and more. If this is something you are interested in being part of as a committee member or as a chair, please email membership@isst-d.org

Online Outreach Volunteer:
Are you in the early stage of building your career and looking for ways to reduce the isolation that our work often brings? Maybe you’re further along in your career and looking for ways to give back? If you hope to build more community, want to add experiences to your resume, and enjoy the idea of being an active member of ISSTD, then this is the perfect opportunity for you! As a member of our social media & marketing team, you’ll use your passion for helping others to help spread the word about upcoming events, trainings, and webinars, and share interesting and important content related to complex trauma and dissociation. Annual Conference Committee – Marketing Volunteer
Support outreach and promotion for the biggest ISSTD event of the year. As an Annual Conference Committee (ACC) Marketing Volunteer, you’ll collaborate with staff and other committee members to help spread the word about the conference, reach new audiences to build our network of professionals, and ensure that new and returning attendees feel welcomed and excited.
