2023 Virtual Conference Schedule Featuring Sandra Bloom and Frank Corrigan Now Available

ISSTD is thrilled to announce our 2023 Virtual Conference, (Re)building Hope, (Re)orienting Safety and (Re)stabilizing Treatment with Complex Trauma and Dissociation. This online only event will take place on October 21-22, 2023. Early bird registration is open now through September 15, 2023. 

ISSTD has been welcoming professionals working with complex trauma and dissociation for four decades. The Virtual Conference creates an opportunity to connect with fellow clinicians and researchers in the field from all over the world, sharing knowledge and wisdom! 

In a world that is constantly in flux, this two-day online conference aims to explore a variety of topics that lend to supporting and building greater safety, stability, and hope amidst ongoing change and transition. Attendees will have access to a mix of 90-minute workshops that explore themes related to the role of attunement in practice, building cultural competency, treatment planning, consultation and supervision, vicarious trauma & resilience and resistance, shame, Neurobiology, and the role of ACEs, Dissociation and Alexithymia as predictors of health-related quality of life. Participants will additionally have access to our two plenary presentations by Sandra Bloom titled, “A Biocratic Paradigm: Exploring the Complexity of Trauma-Informed Leadership and Creating Presence™,” and Frank Corrigan titled, “Deep Brain Reorienting: Disconnection pain and Dissociation.”

  • This will be a completely virtual event.
  • Continuing Education credits are available for purchase for an additional fee. 
  • Discounts are available for groups of five or more from the same hospital, facility, college/university, or organization. Information on discounts can be found here
