As we enter the final quarter of 2026, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported ISSTD this year, whether through financial contributions, volunteer efforts, or both. Your generosity continues to strengthen our community and advance our mission. As you consider your end-of-year giving, we invite you to support three key areas of need within ISSTD: the General Fund, the David Caul Graduate Research Fund, and the Fridley Fund. General Fund
The General Fund is used to expand ISSTD programming, including training, education, and member benefits. In recent years, money raised through the General Fund has helped us implement the ISSTDWorld platform and increase the number and diversity of online courses and trainings we offer. It has also allowed us to expand our tiered pricing structure for education, making training more accessible to mental health professionals throughout the world.
In 2026, ISSTD is continuing our recurring donor program, the Mosaic Society, which recognizes all those who establish monthly donations of $15 or more to the General Fund.
David Caul Graduate Research Fund
The first of our dedicated funds for research and education, the David Caul Graduate Research Fund supports student research primarily concerned with dissociation or closely related topics. Applications open each year in May, and ISSTD awards up to $3,000 annually to fund graduate and undergraduate honors student research projects.

Fridley Fund
The Fridley Fund was created to defray the cost of one training activity offered through ISSTD for students who would otherwise be unable to obtain appropriate instruction in the treatment of complex trauma and dissociation.

Because of your generosity, these two funds are fully financed for future years. If you are considering a donation to either of them, we ask that you direct it to one of the funds above instead, so we can continue to provide annual funding from both of our restricted funds designated for students.
