Volunteer Opportunity Spotlight

Express Your Interest in Volunteering With ISSTD!

This month’s Volunteer Position Spotlight shines on the incredible opportunity to become an ISSTD volunteer!

  1. General Volunteer Application for the ISSTD!

Looking to volunteer but none of the open positions capture your eye? Or perhaps the positions listed don’t include what you are interested in. ISSTD is always looking for new volunteers, and welcomes new volunteer applications to keep in mind for when new opportunities arise. This will also give you a chance to express your interest in volunteering with ISSTD.

The mission of the ISSTD is to advance clinical, scientific, and societal understanding about the prevalence and consequences of chronic trauma and dissociation. With the ongoing support of staff and dedicated volunteers, ISSTD is able to provide all we do! ISSTD always needs new volunteers. If you are interested in getting more involved, we encourage you to apply. If you decide to take this step, please be sure to answer the following questions when submitting your inquiry:

  1. How long have you been a member at ISSTD ?
  2. Have you volunteered with ISSTD before? If yes, what was your role?
  3. What type of volunteer experiences are you most interested in (small projects, large projects, committee member, moderator, ISSTD news contributor, etc…)?
  4. How many hours per week would you like to volunteer?

If you have questions about what volunteering may look like, or if it sounds like something you would be interested in being a part of, please email membership@isst-d.org to express your interest. Alternatively, you can apply directly here.
