The newly formed and reconstructed Virtual Training Committee (VTC) is the combination of the Regional and Virtual Training Committee with the Webinar Committee. This is a result of several factors and is in keeping with the direction ISSTD has pursued for a while of bringing together committees where there is an overlap in tasks and objectives. Also, in this case, the regional conferences were not drawing much in the way of participation, so while there will still be selective regional presentations, most of ISSTD’s training beyond the Annual Conference will be virtual. It then made sense to have one committee tasked with providing expanded areas of virtual training. The VTC is co-chaired by Peter Maves and Jules Trana with committee members from each of the former committees comprising the new VTC.
