Fridley Fund

Now Accepting Applications for the Goodwin & Fridley Educational Funds

ISSTD is now accepting applications for the Goodwin Educational Fund and the Fridley Educational Fund for thefirst 2026 application cycle. These funds are designed to help offset the cost of ISSTD training opportunities for professionals and students dedicated to learning more about the treatment of complex trauma and dissociation.

Applications for both funds are open January 23 through February 10, 2026. Read on to learn more about each fund, eligibility requirements, and how to apply.


The Goodwin Educational Fund helps offset the cost of one ISSTD training activity for professionals seeking advanced education in the treatment of complex trauma and dissociation. Up to five awards are available during each application period.

Applicants for the Goodwin Fund must:

  • Hold a Master’s-level or higher degree in a relevant field
  • Demonstrate financial need (proof of income required; applicants earning over $40,000 USD must provide additional justification)
  • Show a clear interest in applying training on complex trauma and dissociation in their current professional work

  • Application period: January 23 – February 10, 2026
  • Decisions announced: Late February / Early March 2026

  • Demonstrate financial need (proof of income required; applicants earning over $40,000 USD must provide additional justification)
  • Show interest in learning about complex trauma and dissociation and the ability to apply the training in their current role or placement
  • Application period: January 23 – February 10, 2026
  • Decisions announced: Late February / Early March 2026
