News You Can Use – December 2025

Congratulations to ISSTD Member, Shae Nester, on receiving the American Psychological Foundation’s 2025 Dr. Christine Blasey Ford Grant!

The foundation stated,

This year, our Dr. Christine Blasey Ford Grant supported M. Shae Nester’s research on trauma-related dissociation, an important yet deeply underfunded area. This grant both advances Shae’s dissertation work and helps improve care and outcomes for survivors of sexual trauma. We’re proud to stand behind Shae’s research that brings care and healing to survivors.

The American Psychological Foundation has several scholarships, grants and awards that are currently accepting applications. You can learn more about these opportunities here.
