2026 Annual Conference

Lead the Conversation at the 43rd ISSTD Annual Conference – Call for Proposals Now Open!

Are you ready to share your knowledge and experience with others?

The International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD) is thrilled to invite you to be part of a shared journey of learning and growth at our 43rd Annual Conference, taking place March 26-30, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Portland at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon, USA.

The 2026 conference theme, “Past Perspectives, Future Horizons: Navigating Changing Currents of Complex Trauma and Dissociation,” challenges us to examine and reflect on where we have been and how we can continue to grow within the Trauma and Dissociation field.

Our ISSTD community consists of many dedicated students, clinicians, and researchers, that work diligently to support those who live with complex trauma and dissociation. The diversity of experience and skill sets within our community truly makes learning from one another so valuable, and we deeply encourage you to submit a proposal, and contribute your insights and wisdom to the creation of our 2026 Annual Conference.

Whether you’re new to the field or have years of experience, your voice is important, and this is your opportunity to support your colleagues and friends within the field by sharing the work you are so passionate about. We especially welcome presentations at the introductory and advanced levels, which are highly valued by attendees yet often underrepresented in our submissions.

The Call for Proposals is open from July 1 – August 13, 2025. Please ensure you read all submission guidelines before submitting your proposal. Those who submit proposals before August 1 will be entered into a raffle to receive one free year of membership with ISSTD.

If you have any questions, please email cfas@isst-d.org. We look forward to building the 43rd Annual Conference together, through your proposal submissions, and we hope to see you in Portland in March, 2026!
