Happy SEPtember! For the month of September, ISSTD is honoring and celebrating student and early career professionals for their involvement with ISSTD. Every week throughout the month, a discount code for a free recorded webinar has been posted in the SEP ISSTDWorld Forum. We hope those members have been able to take advantage of the deal to enroll in new content within the Center for Advanced Studies.
ISSTD is also working to re-activate the Student and Emerging Professional (SEP) Committee and is seeking volunteers to join this committee. The mission of the SEP Committee is to promote ISSTD as the foremost place to learn about & study the phenomenology, diagnosis and treatment of Complex Trauma and Dissociation while fostering, encouraging and supporting the student and emerging professionals of the ISSTD.
The two main goals of the committee are to plan and lead the SEP luncheon at the annual conference as well as plan engaging conversation and activity within the online community during SEPtember (Student and Emerging Professional Month).
This committee is vital to supporting student engagement within ISSTD, and therefore, it is important to us to restart the committee beginning in January 2025. If you are interested in supporting student and early career professional engagement in ISSTD, please email membership@isst-d.org or Krista Behrens the Volunteer Coordinator at kristabehrens@gmail.com.
