Hello, everyone!
My name is Dr. Briana Snyder, and I am an associate professor in the Department of Nursing at Towson University. I am a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse and board-certified hospice nurse. I am writing to invite you to participate in a research study about therapists’ experiences of talking about natural death and end-of-life with individuals with dissociative disorders (DDs) in their clinical practice.
To participate in the study, you must be 18 years of age or older, be able to complete a virtual audio-recorded Zoom interview in English, and be a licensed mental health professional who has practiced psychotherapy with individuals with DDs for at least 6 months.
If you decide to participate, please click here to sign the informed consent: https://towson.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1GDSVSuE1BI91z0
The interview will last about 60 minutes, and you will be asked questions about your discussions with your clients with DDs about natural death and dying.
Institutional review board (IRB) approval for this study was granted by the Towson University IRB (protocol #3380). If you have any questions about the study, please email me at blsnyder@towson.edu.
Thank you very much, and please share this research opportunity with others who may be eligible!
Sincerely,
Briana L. Snyder, PhD, RN, PMH-BC, CHPN, CNE
