As we approach the close of 2025, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to every member, donor, volunteer, and supporter who has contributed to ISSTD throughout the year. Your generosity has strengthened our community and advanced our shared mission to support education, research, and community within the field of complex trauma and dissociation.
As you consider your year-end giving, we invite you to help us finish 2025 strong by supporting several key areas that directly impact students, early-career professionals, and the broader ISSTD membership. Each of these programs and funds plays a vital role in expanding membership access, enhancing education, and fostering the next generation of leaders within our field.
Member Sponsorship Program
In 2024, with the support of members like you, we were able to launch our member sponsorship program, and last year, we were grateful that we received enough pledges to sponsor every student or clinician in need.
At this time, we have received significantly more applications for sponsorship than we are able to fund, so we would greatly appreciate your support in increasing the accessibility of ISSTD Membership by submitting a pledge to sponsor an individual ISSTD membership.
By sponsoring a member, you will actively contribute to the professional development and success of a new member. When members support and uplift each other, it creates a community that fosters collaboration, knowledge sharing, and collective advancement. Learn more about Member Sponsorship here.
Help us start off 2026 by getting every member in need sponsored!
General Fund & The Mosaic Society
The ISSTD General Fund fuels growth across all areas of our organization. This year, the fund helped strengthen educational programming, expand our online learning opportunities, and increase the accessibility of training worldwide. Contributions also support innovative technology, including updates to the ISSTD website based on feedback from our members.
Those who wish to make a sustained impact are invited to join The Mosaic Society, which recognizes donors who commit to a recurring monthly contribution of $15 or more. These gifts provide a reliable foundation that helps ISSTD plan and grow year after year.
David Caul Graduate Research Fund
The David Caul Graduate Research Fund continues to empower the next generation of researchers by supporting student projects focused on dissociation and related topics. Each year, ISSTD awards up to $3,000 to graduate and undergraduate honors students who are advancing meaningful inquiry in our field.
Your donation enables emerging scholars to pursue important research that might otherwise go unfunded.
Fridley Fund
The Fridley Fund helps ensure that students who are passionate about treating complex trauma and dissociation can access high-quality training through ISSTD. By reducing financial barriers to education, this fund supports the development of skilled clinicians who will carry this work forward.
A Special Note of Thanks
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has contributed to ISSTD in 2025, including donors to the Research and Education Fund and the Goodwin Education Fund. Thanks to your generosity, both of these restricted funds are fully endowed for future years.
As you plan your year-end giving, we ask that you direct your support to one of the priority funds above so that we can continue offering annual funding to students, researchers, and clinicians in need.We also want to thank all who participated in fundraising events this year—whether joining Ask the Experts sessions or attending Taste of Boston. Your engagement brings our community to life.
Your Gift Makes a Difference
By giving to ISSTD, you help cultivate a community of learning, innovation, and compassionate clinical care that extends across the globe. Every donation—large or small—contributes to the continued growth and strength of our Society.
Thank you for being a vital part of ISSTD, and thank you for considering a year-end gift that supports our mission and the professionals we serve.
