Applications for the Goodwin Fund are being accepted August 5 – 28, 2024, which is a donor restricted fund intended to further the education of professionals with limited financial resources. Applicants can apply for funds that cover the registration fee or portion of the registration fee for one ISSTD-sponsored training, seminar, conference or webinar pass. Funds are open to professionals who hold a Master’s-level or higher degree in psychology, psychiatry, social work, or related fields with demonstrated financial need. 

The March through May, 2024, funding period resulted in the funding of the Level I Professional Training Program Course, The Complexities of Complex Trauma, for three very deserving individuals. Past recipients have received funding to attend the ISSTD Annual Conference, Virtual Conference, and training courses.

We encourage those who are outside of North America to apply. Several of our past recipients have been from outside North America in countries such as India, Malaysia, and Kenya. The Goodwin Fund Review Team is always looking for members who would like to be part of the team that reviews applications and makes Funding recommendations to the Board of Directors.
