ISSTD News is seeking people to coordinate one of our regular feature columns. There are multiple opportunities, and co-coordinating is welcome!
Feature columns include:
- Volunteer Spotlight: Interviews ISSTD volunteers.
- International Spotlight: Articles focused on the trauma and dissociation field across the world.
- Spreading the Word: Articles about people or organizations who are spreading the word about dissociation into the wider community or health field.
- Kid’s Korner: Articles focused on child and adolescent topics.
- Creative Space: Articles focused on creative topics, including publication of members’ creative works (e.g., Poet’s Corner).
- Clinical Reflections: Articles relating to clinicians’ reflections on assessment and treatment of complex trauma and dissociation.
- Publications of Interest: Features a compilation of recent articles, often around a topic of interest.
These roles are ideal for people who enjoy researching, networking, liaising, and/or making connections with colleagues. If this sounds like something you would be interested in being a part of, please visit the ISSTD’s Volunteer Match page here to apply! We would love to hear from you!
In addition to column coordinators, we also welcome contributions of individual articles for any of these columns. Please reach out to Alexis Arbuthnott, ISSTD News Editor, at aeiarbuthnott@gmail.com to discuss your ideas.
