This time every year the ISSTD seeks out engaged, energetic, and creative members who would like to be nominated for the positions available on the Board of Directors. These positions allow members to move into a leadership role and stamp their own ideas and vision on the ISSTD through direct engagement with other Board members in moving the Society forward in a manner that best represents our members and which is consistent with our mission.
The ISSTD continues to grow with our membership now exceeding 1400. All areas of the Society are flourishing, offering more regional conferences, webinars, and training courses than ever before.
You now have the opportunity to play a central role in these developments by being nominated for the Board of Directors. Or you may know of another member whose enthusiasm and leadership we could benefit from and who may agree to you nominating.
Nominations for the 2021 Board of Directors will be open from September 1 – 30, 2020. Below please find information regarding the openings that will begin January 1, 2021.
Please take a moment and make your recommendations so that we can continue the work of our strong, meaningful professional home. On behalf of the Nominating Committee, thank you in advance for your participation in this vital member role.
Christine Forner, Past President
Chair, 2020 ISSTD Nominating Committee
